Holy smokes I did it!

I started this round with my Harry/Draco fest fic hovering at 7316 and tonight I wrote the fishing word at 15,168! I have tons of revision left to do and at least one entire scene that will require a rewrite, but at least the story is complete and I don't have to freak about getting my words out or coming up with "where the hell am I going?" :D

OMG, I'm not going to say it's almost done because woohoo it is done!!! \o/

My Lotrips Aloha draft is done. I only had the epilogue left, and ta-da 8k later it’s finally done. This baby’s been lingering since 2004, but it’s been in the last year that it really started to take shape. For the good or bad it also became a crossover with CW rps and will have a sequel *head-desk*

Keeping track of actually word counts to be honest I bypassed that and just jumped in writing every day. I do know when I signed up for werewolfbigbang I believe I had 39-40K, then proceeded to write up to 45k only to scrape it back down to 39k. Now with the epilogue, un’beta’d wc its: 65, 477.

During the beta process I’m sure things will get cut, others expanded as my beta goes through it. Otherwise it’s done, I couldn’t be more thrilled. Now a short lunch break then to get started on my Dark Angel piece =)

I've finished the first draft of my untitled White Collar exchange fic! YAYAYAY! (I am so relieved by this, it's ridiculous!) I started the active part of the round with 2519 words, and I ended with 4190. That's 1671 new words, pretty much what I predicted I'd need.

My HP fest fic is finished and posted! Thank you for this community! It is an amazing resource! I know that I didn't take full advantage of it like I should have or could have but I was still able to finish my fic with the help offered here! I look forward to participating again in the future and using all the resources the community has to offer! Thanks!

It was my prompt over at hoodie_time that I full filled.

Here's another excerpt:

“Oh right. Like the late great John Winchester would listen to his kids,” Dean said bitterly kicking an empty soda can down the sidewalk. “You know damn well that the only thing that mattered was the hunt for old yellow eyes and everything else was a distant after thought, including us.” Any leads, rumors or whispers about the YED would cause John to drop everything and to hell with the consequences.

“I know,” Sam replied with a sigh, thinking about their childhood. Always moving, never having a place to call home, the endless training to make them better soldiers in John’s futile war, being left alone for days on end, the countless schools. Their childhood had been a litany of broken promises and empty dreams. No wonder he had clung so tightly to the Stanford dream and the normal life it had offered until it came crashing down.

Well, it's nowhere nead ready to post (OMG the amount of editing I need to do), but the first draft of my Supernatural/Brimstone crossover is done! I added a respectable 8,787 words this round, and am pleased as punch!

I started my BtVS challenge story this round with 286 words, and finished with about 2,500. It needs some cutting and editing, but the rough draft is done! *dances*
